About:
Here at north forty farm we focus on the great learning experience of the horse. We offer lessons, boarding, and training. We have our own pony club Shepaug Valley Pony Club. Please visit the rest of the site. :)
Training:
We currently train welsh ponies. We roundpen them until they are ready to be ridden or lunged. We let the horse make its own decisions. If the horse disobeys they run in the roundpen until they can choose the right choice. We have successfully trained happy ponies this way. We are working with five young horses currently.
Horses:
